Kae McQueen is leaving Sun City to be by her daughter’s family in Minneapolis. At a “good bye” party, she received a quilt signed by many of her friends. The quilt was made in secret by members of her quilting group.

On Tuesday, Sept. 3, 11 Stingray members, one husband, and one Sun City aquatics director, traveled to beautiful Lake Geneva, Wis. There the hungry group of water adventurers climbed on board the Grand Belle of Geneva for a 2 hour-and-15 minute guided tour of the entire lake’s shores. Lunch, including a menu of beef tenderloin tips, was served as the seniors enjoyed the delightful views of turn-of-the century mansions, sun-soaked beaches, and moored sail and motor boats. After eating, there was time to mingle and experience sun-tanning and gentle breezes. The food, companionship, and weather proved to be perfect! What more could an aqua-lover ask for?
