Getting CERTified
On July 16, 2011 Huntley’s CERT Trainees completed their training with a mock tornado disaster held in the Huntley Public Works Building.

Flags on Stone Hill Drive
This photo is taken in front of one of the houses on Stone Hill Drive. For the past six years, residents had three volunteer homeowners from the block decorate all ten of their mailboxes with American flags for all-American patriotic holidays.

Clarification
In the cover story titled Campaign Trail, Open Forum Village Trustee Candidates, Part I of the March 24 edition of the Sun Day, we stated that the remainder of the article would be printed in full in the next edition on April 7, the current edition. This statement was printed in error, as at the time, the dates of publication for the Sun Day and for the elections for Village Trustee were unintentionally confused.

In the weeks since the Walleye Grill closed, the Sun Day has received dozens of emails and phone calls from Sun City residents asking if there’s anything the paper can do to help reopen the Walleye Grill.
