Scandinavian American Club Activities

Casserole Night Monday, May 23, 5-9 p.m. in the Oak/Elm Room at Meadow View Lodge. Call Caroline Bergstrom at 847-669-3357 by May 18 to make reservations and let her know if you will bring a casserole, a salad, or a dessert. Beverages will be provided. Entertainment will follow dinner. There is no charge for members but a charge of $3.00 per person for non-members.

Sunday, June 12, 4-9 p.m. Picnic at the Pavilion.

Thursday, September 12 at 11 a.m. Miniature golf at Lippold Park followed by a barbeque luncheon at Jameson’s in the Prairie View Lodge.

Wednesday, November 9 from 6-9 p.m. Open-face Sandwich Night in the Oak/Elm Room at Meadow View Lodge, Bunco games after dinner.

Sunday, December 11, 5-9 p.m. Christmas Smorgasbord by Jameson’s in the Drendel Ballroom. Entertainment by Leikarringen Heimhug, Scandinavian folk dancers.


Tiara Tea Fiesta!

The Tiara Tea Society will enjoy Mexican food and music at On the Border in Algonquin Commons. Lunch will be at noon on Tuesday, May 17.

Price of $16 includes entree, beverage and dessert. Entrees are: Quesadilla Combo-Chicken or Steak, Taco Salad with either ground beef or pulled chicken, or Chimichange of ground beef or pulled chicken.

Dessert is a fluffy Mexican pastry sprinkled with Cinnamon-sugar with honey and chocolate sauce for Dipping. Choice of beans.

Reservations should be made by Friday, May 13 by calling Regina Gately at 847-669-1921. Carpool from 11504 Morning Glory Lane at ll:30 am. Indicate if you will be driving or need a ride.
