Scarecrow gang

The ladies of Vineyard Drive are putting a scarecrow on each tree and each mailbox in N.33. A friend on my block in Oak Park moved out here the same day that I did. We always had a great time on our block and now we are here, and we want the same thing. This friend, Marcia Myers of N.2, saw these scarecrows on another block last year and was telling me all about it! I thought it was a great idea, and when I saw them marked at 90% off at the end of the season last year, I scarfed them up and stored them in my garage for the winter and summer. Now here it is fall and my neighbors are embracing the plan. On Vineyard you will be greeted by outdoor lights on at each house in the evening and an assortment of scarecrows dotting the street as well. Pumpkins are arriving at the base of each tree as we await our fall holidays without many leaves, but with everything else! Enjoy!
