High Tea Anyone?
The Neighborhood 19 ladies were invited to Alice’s for tea on Feb. 19. Hats and gloves were requested but not required. Nine of us were tickled to participate and were the lucky recipients of a wonderful luncheon. It was replete with finger sandwiches, baked brie pastry, and fabulous cheesecake, and kolaches. Of course, our hostess served tea in delicate china cups and saucers (a gift from her daughter). Everyone had such fun at our “High Tea,” reminding us of how we enjoyed playing grownups when we were little girls.
