Question: Anonymous asks “Will the mile markers be repainted along the Wildflower pathways?’
Answer: As you may have already seen, the painted mile markers along the trails have been replaced with new vertical signposts this spring! These more permanent markers will be more visible from a distance and will not disappear whenever the paths are sealcoated or covered by leaves, ice, or snow. The new color-coded marker post locations have been accurately placed, showing the distance between each. Most are placed 2/10ths of a mile apart. The color and distance notations are helpful in emergencies, allowing emergency services to quickly and accurately locate anyone needing assistance.
