I would like to acknowledge the kindness of my neighbors in the Atwood Landing neighborhood. I have only been in the DW for one year. My husband had been hospitalized for pneumonia, and has been in Alden recovering. My friends and neighbors have checked in and offered medical equipment and support. My new best friends, Lisa and Rob Alexander, have brought me treats, checked in every day, and now Rob will be our personal chef until we can get back to our normal lives. I feel so cared for. I lived in Schaumburg, same house, for 40 years. I have never felt cared for or watched over. This truly is a community, and moving here was the best decision I have ever made!!!
