When people are thinking and writing about their views of today’s political campaigns, they often struggle for appropriate adjectives. However, recently, an adjective that fits like a glove has come forward and hits the target. The far-right political campaign is weird. Not just chaotic, or strange, but weird. On the other side stands a President who will be revered for the ages. He put his country above all else and stepped aside. Then, he pronounced and endorsed the most qualified and capable person to lead the party as the future President, Kamal Harris. He knew it when he picked her to run as his running mate and he knows, without a doubt, that she is what is needed to carry our democracy forward. She has brought back laughter, joy, and hope to our youth, our brown and black people, our women and men, our immigrants, and to the world.
Kamala Harris has just graduated from a three year and six-month concentrated class in European Democracy. She has learned leadership from the most venerated leader on the world stage, Joseph R. Biden. She has a background as a prosecutor and has worked to hold our rule-of-law land to its highest bar. Kamala Harris is well grounded. She marches forward carrying a banner of good old-fashioned humanity with an iron arm of knowledge and will be the next President of the United States of America. Nothing weird in that!

Time magazine did an objective in-depth interview with Donald Trump about his anticipated second term – with the result that Americans that people began learning about “Project 2025” — and they did not like what they learned.
Project 25 is an organized, coordinated plan developed by the Heritage Foundation, which will change the way our government is run. Most of our democratic processes and many of the freedoms we take for granted will be restricted or eliminated.
Project 2025 calls for radical changes in our government, centralizing power in the executive branch and will affect every American by restricting rights we take for granted.

While both Trump and Vance are now backpedaling involvement with Project 2025, these plans were assembled by more than 25 of Trump’s own administration officials. Trump’s PAC is running ads calling it “Trump’s Project 2025.” And Vance wrote a forward to an upcoming book by Kevin Roberts, Project 2025 architect, praising many of the ideas of the 2025 mandate.

Alvin Bragg didn’t indict Donald Trump for having sex with a porn star while married to someone else. Having sex with a porn star while married to someone else is not a crime. No big deal.
It’s always the cover up. Alvin Bragg indicted Donald Trump for telling the state of New York that the $130K he gave his lover was a legal expense. Paying a lover is not tax deductible, paying legal expenses are. Donald Trump defrauded the state of New York and the people of New York.
Alvin Bragg investigated the evidence and called him on it; 34 times. A jury of his peers found him guilty 34 times.
Donald Trump’s friends testified under oath that the $130K was not a legal expense, but an effort to cover up his peccadillo. David Pecker, Hope Hicks, Micheal Cohen,Rhona Graff,Jeffrey McConney, DebTarasoff a total of 22 individuals testified. These witnesses were not Trump haters, never Trumpers. They were part of the entire scheme. Micheal Cohen (“I’ll take a bullet for Donald Trump”) took out a second mortgage on his home to pay Trump’s lover. This was for a guy who proclaimed “I’m very rich, I don’t need your money”. Can you imagine the conversation at Cohen’s house? Honey, I took out a second mortgage to pay Donald’s lover $130k. Cohen ended up in prison, doing time for Donald Trump.
I remind all of you Trump apologists, what I stated here isn’t an opinion, these are facts. You may not like the justice system in this country, but I don’t hear complaints about the justice system when it comes to Hunter Biden, Ed Burke, and Bob Menedez. Where’s the NRA complaining that Hunter had to fill out a form to get a gun?
My opinion: the USA will be a much better country the day Donald Trump leaves the political stage. His divisiveness, his name calling, his lies, do nothing to bring us together or solve the problems our country faces.
I urge all of you to vote for Kamala Harris.
