Crafting a donation

By

Two members of the Sun City Woodchucks, Donna Bordsen and Howard Hoyt, had an idea to reserve a table at the annual Sun City Artisan Fair with all of the proceeds contributed to the Grafton Food Pantry. All of the items sold at our table were hand crafted by our members. Twenty-one members donated their time, talent and treasures to the cause, and almost every item donated was sold.

The response from the community was overwhelming, both in terms of admiration of the beautiful workmanship of our members and appreciation of the proceeds going to the Grafton Food Pantry. Some residents gave us extra money for their purchases and some residents just donated money without buying.

The Sun City Woodchucks are pleased to submit a donation in the amount of $1,210, representing the entire proceeds from the Sun City Woodchucks table at the recent Artisan Fair.

Thanks for everything you do for our community.
