Americans’ willingness to take the coronavirus vaccine has jumped since the first two vaccines were authorized by the FDA. In a response to a survey, Sun City residents echo the Nation’s willingness to take the vaccine. Sixty-four residents responded to the question, “Will you get the vaccine?” Only three said that they would not.

But Fritz and his wife, Tina, have sequestered themselves in their home in Sun City during the coronavirus pandemic, so the annual birthday celebration was a small gathering of three.

Residents of Sun City may remember how during last year’s holiday season, the Woodchucks’ charitable efforts led to the charter club being featured on local news station, WGN9. However, their annual wooden toy making drive is not exclusive to just one year alone, as according to fellow Woodchuck and event organizer, Al La Pelusa.

Yesterday, I cried for the us that is no more, for the couple, the twosome who moved through life together – sharing love, joy, faith, struggles, worries, accomplishments and successes, illnesses and loss, adversity and failures.
