There always seems to be something big, significant and creative going on in Huntley Community School District 158. If it isn’t a nearly $40 million expansion of Huntley High School, it’s blended learning for high school students, specialized medical education programs in association with a major area hospital, or helping students achieve record-high standardized test scores.
Each week, the Huntley Police Department compiles a list of all serious criminal incidents that occur in the village. Copies of these public reports are distributed to Sun City’s Neighborhood Watch groups and neighborhood reps, and the Sun Day.

He was asked to assist police officers in a search for a missing elderly lady in the community. He also was asked to recruit some friends to assist him in the activity. He rounded up three friends and reported for “duty.”

The Theatre Company of Sun City announces their Scholarship Program is now open for 2018. The company decided it would again dedicate a portion of their budget to a scholarship fund directed towards helping young people, grades K through 12. One of the requirements is that be a relative of a Sun City resident. Equal consideration is given to all students who apply.
