When the air turns crisp and leaves turn color, most women search their closets for clothing suitable for the incoming season.
Autumn has arrived with its visions of brightly colored leaves, sun-drenched pumpkins, and early morning fog. At Sun City, this crisp-weathered season means an annual showing of fall/winter fashions in Drendel Ballroom. On display yearly are cooler weather trends in fabrics, colors, and styles of clothing for the fashion-con¬scious mature woman shopper.
The Huntley Park District hopes to follow-up with a 2011 resident survey by asking residents a final question: are they willing to pay for new athletic facilities?

On Sept. 9, the seven candidates competing for three open seats on the Sun City Community Association board of directors spoke to about 400 residents at an open forum in Drendel Ballroom.
