And this is why I don’t talk to strangers

Shortly before my son was born, it really sank in that my wife and I were going to be his primary role models for a number of years (and hopefully someone he bounces things off for the rest of our lives). The insight made me take stock of myself. I’ve done this before for numerous reasons, and it’s always an uncomfortable process, but unlike other times, I knew this time someone was going to be learning from me. Certain changes had to be made.

Furnace filters were added to furnaces by the manufacturers to protect the blower and the heat exchangers from being fouled by contaminants in the air. Filter manufacturers differentiated their products by using various filter materials that removed more contaminants from the air, but at the expense of restricting the airflow.

Former Sun City employee charged with theft of residents’ funds

But now it has come at a price. It’s in the form of a theft of residents’ funds by a former staff employee.

Sun City financial changes require new IDs for residents

Major changes are coming soon in Sun City’s financial operations. Accounting services, which were moved to the First Service Residential (FSR) management company in 2015, will move back to the local offices as of January 1. The newly integrated software solution to realize efficiencies in the local financial operations went “online” on December 1.
