For several hours a week, I work at the Huntley Library re-shelving items. During this process, opportunity presents itself for me to peruse materials I’d not see while looking on my own. Very often I say to myself, oh, that looks interesting … and then I keep it or jot down the info. I’ll share some with you that pique my interest.

Our house was built in 1999 or 2000. The center bay window gas leaked out and condensation is inside. Can we find out who made the windows so I can buy a replacement? This is a Del Webb house. The garage door has windows. The two side windows of the bay are good. The inside frame opening is 46 ¾” wide by 70 ¾” high.

At 11 a.m. on April 3, The Theatre Company of Sun City aired its first radio play on 101.5 FM, Huntley Community Radio. Its new half-hour program is called Vintage Voices. Myron Shellist, the charter club’s president since 2009, knew that members would respond well to the radio opportunity.
