SUN CITY – Kick off the holiday season the week after Thanksgiving with the Sun City Strutters and special guest performers the Prairie Voices in the second annual holiday season performance, Christmas Is Coming.

The show includes something for everyone, with tap, ballet, and jazz routines interspersed with your favorite holiday songs performed by the Prairie Voices.
When: Wednesday, November 30 at 7 p.m.
Where: Drendel Ballroom in Prairie Lodge
Price: Tickets are $5 per person and are available now through CAM at the Activities Department or Fitness Center of Prairie View Lodge or Meadowview Lodge.
Extra: Jameson’s is offering a $20 pre-show Dinner Special with the presentation of your Christmas Is Coming show tickets.
“Half the numbers are dance numbers and the other half are songs that are sung,” says Bev Kerman, member of the Sun City Strutters and the show producer. “Some are whimsical, some are nostalgic, some are spiritual. We run the gambit—a classical ballet movement…to a jazz number called ‘I Want a Hippopotamus for Christmas.’ It’s a real variety.”Last year’s show went “wonderfully,” Bev said, and this year’s show will be even better, with the addition of the Prairie Voices and a special guest performer, a local Sun City guitarist and singer, who will open the show and perform an additional number during the show.Bev said, “This year we’ve added a more elaborate backdrop…. We tried to make this show a little more glitzy, a little more whimsical, [and have] a little added attraction with a guest performer.”
