Looking for a fun way to spend a Tuesday afternoon with your neighbors? Mark your calendars for September 22, from 2 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. The Drendel Ballroom is hosting Anybody’s Guess, a lighthearted afternoon of Sun City fact and fiction. The event organizers will be sharing some fun, surprising statements about Sun City Committees and the community.
Sheri Goldstein, Chair of the Lifestyle Volunteer Committee, said, “All you have to do is sit back, relax, and guess which ones are facts and which ones are fiction.”

Here is a quick sample of a “fact or fiction” question coming up: You need 10 years of Sun City residency to serve on a committee; fact or fiction? Find out if your guess is correct by attending Anybody’s Guess on September 22.
This gathering is completely casual and low-pressure. Whether you have lived here for decades or just moved in last week, everyone is on the same page. It is a simple, relaxed way to see what the local committees are up to and find easy ways to get involved if you want to.
Helene Weston, Strategic Planning Advisory Committee member, said, “Come for the community, stay for the connections. Serving on our HOA committee gives you an important voice in our neighborhood, but the best part is the social bond. It is fulfilling to work together with such a welcoming group of people, share some laughs, and develop lasting friendships right where we live.”
To make the afternoon even better, attendees can enjoy free appetizers and a dessert bar after the game.
Goldstein shared, “We will also have fun raffles throughout the game, featuring beautiful, handcrafted items donated by our talented residents. You must be present to win.”
After the event, residents are encouraged to mix and mingle with committee members to learn more about their work and vital contributions to the community. While the event, appetizers, and desserts are complimentary, an advance headcount is required for seating. Please register by the September 17 deadline using registration code LSE1041 on the resident portal, or submit it directly to the association desk.
