Jim and I (aka Fred and Wilma) jumped into our prehistoric “Mini”-mobile to head out for a late Saturday afternoon lunch. Jim got his size 14 clod-hoppers all revved up, his feet hit the pavement, and off we went to Granite City Food and Brewery in Schaumburg.

Pancake Dinner

Sometimes called “Shrove Tuesday,” but more commonly called “Fat Tuesday” or “Mardi Gras,” the day calls for pancakes! All-you-can-eat pancakes and sausages will be served Tuesday, February 9 from 5-7 p.m. at Zion United Methodist Church.
