Parking dilemma continues to accelerate

Things are still revving up in the controversial student parking issue between two of Huntley’s closest neighbors – Sun City and Huntley High School.

Sun City Huntley Announces New Date for Consumer Spring Showcase

Thursday, April 14, Sun City Huntley will host its annual Spring Consumer Showcase at Prairie Lodge, located at 12880 Del Webb Blvd. in Huntley. Showcase hours are from 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Tree’s a crowd

You might not be able to see the forest for the trees, but you can see the downtown Huntley square. Last month, the Village of Huntley removed seven of the eight trees decorating the downtown area, according to Barbara Read, Village of Huntley Management Assistant.

Sun City Board cuts off communication with Sun Day

For the Sun Day PERSONALLY, the board’s unwillingness to communicate is of very little consequence. It will not negatively impact the paper’s performance. Organizations or governing bodies throwing up media roadblocks is old hat. It’s as common as Illinois road construction and handled the same way: you go around it.
