On Tuesday, Aug. 26, 10 Stingray Swim Club members attended their second and final summer swim meet. This outdoor aquatic event was held at Homewood-Flossmoor’s Lion’s Club Pool. Before thunderstorms and heavy rain could prematurely hasten the meet’s conclusion, the Stings had garnished 34 total awards with 25 gold, 7 silver, and 2 bronze medals won. The Homewood-Flossmoor’s head coach, Eric, unable to grill outside for the Huntley tankers, instead gifted all present with delicious pizza for their outstanding efforts!
