It’s been quiet around the Fountainview Amphitheater lately, but all that’s about to end when Sun City’s own classic rock band, OLD’S COOL, takes the stage next Thursday, August 4, from 6-7:30 pm.
OLD’S COOL is a great dance and party band, reviving the old school days of classic rock ‘n roll, blues and R&B. And with three of its members being long-time residents of Sun City (TR Kerth, Hans Stucki and Bob Noble), the event is sure to be filled with neighborly fun.
Rounding out the band are guitarist Dennis Baier from Addison and drummer Monk Montgomery from Fontana, WI.
This is the band’s only scheduled appearance in Huntley for 2016, and if their popular show at Fountainview last summer is any measure, music fans should bring along their dancing shoes and come ready to laugh and sing along to the songs that ruled the airwaves from the 50s, 60s, 70s, and beyond.
